THE BAND CAMP
im just back from band camp actually.hehe.all i can say is for once,sectionals had been a great one.
27th December/tuesday
i woke up early. then i thought we were to report at 7am. so i rush, but i check the camp booklet,it was 7.30am !!!
arghhhh. wasted my bloody sweet 30mins of sleeping.then i arrive in school,looking like a half-dead idiot.then we had this lame game called "DING-DONG". no one was like shouting.
seriously,it was so early in the morning, of course people are very sleepy.
then, we went to class 1A put our belongings. then fix instruments.
then we had 3-4 hours of sectionals.at first i tot, its gonna be boring.then when i walk out of the band room, saw some people whom i dunno at all.
then lower winds & tuba went to 1/2 classrooom.
then Meiyi called me saying " zulaiha, your instructor"
i was like " huh? "
then got this guy appear from dunno where. then i knew his name was Ghazali or Gazali.but its pronouced as GA-ZA-LI.
the first few hours,he ask me to play THE SMOOTH.
he said my rythm was ok.
haha.except my sound & i didnt play stocato(sp?)
then i played shrek dance party.
it was ok.except the stay alive part.
i cant play my C well.
& he told me advise on how to get rid of tat.
he told me a lot of advice on how to improve n all that.
then we got bored n he told me a lot of stuff.
he ask me about bgss band.
he told me that he was from Loyang sec. haha.
he told me bout his band camp as an alumni.
haha. one of the stiry he told me was the alumnies all dress up as ghost.
then they scare people off late at night. & the juniors cried
i was like laughing. very funny.
then another one was they had this challenge playing scissors,paper,stones.
then the person who won got this WWE belt.haha
then you can challenge with the person at anytime just to get the belt
& by the end of the camp, if u still haf the belt,you will get a prize.
so he told me that he challenge the winner at that time, in e middle of the night.
& i was still laughing away. haha.
then me & him started laughing. it was totally funny.while other sections are practising, well, im right there LAUGHING away. haha !
then he say " alamak,sakit perot pulak" (alamak,stomoachache)
then i just kept quiet but still laughing.haha
then he say " you take a rest,i toilet first"
So i sat there like dunno wat to do. haha
then i tried the staying alive part again & again.
then he got back he said " you didn't take a rest?"
then i say "nvm, im not that tired"
haha. then we talk & talk.
he was like " is this how ur sectionals like ?3-4 hours?"
i was like "uh huh" then he say " if at my sch, 1 hour already people start to run about"
thenhe went toilet again. ahaha. he said " i go toilet again arh,you go take a rest, if want to go toilet, better go"
but i sat there.he came back n said " eh how cum u didnt take rest? not tired?never go toilet ?"
i say " no,no,no. im not tired"then he said " you are the most hardworking student i ever seen"
i was like " me ?"
me? sure not, i slack a lot siahhhhhh.
then he played my bass clarinet, he played like sooooo coool. soo nice.
im motivated to continue play my bass cl.
he ask me whether my seniors come or wat den i say no. then he say "woahhh,so the kesian seh, then good luck to you" wah laooo, good luck to me? im dead.
then i found out tat mr fahmi can play the clarinet,trombone & basson.
so co0ol.
then we had combined,then marching.
dunno uf gazali saw me coz i march like an idiot. i dunno where the position n stuff. haha
then the games oklah.had fun.
the wash up,then watch movie" swing girls"VERY NICE.
then went to sleep at hall.
i didnt manage to sleep. but get to sleep like for 1hr or so.

haha.
tat includes me too.
then we had morning excercise den marching.
after that lunch,then band prac.after tat we watch this video,maintenance of the instrument. i was asleep.haha
then pack stuff den reach home.
i manage to know another junior, xiao xi ! the gurl whose laughter very wierd. haha
orite im gg to sleep. freaking tired.
